It is with great disappointment that Artistic Director, Daniel Tong, is unable to perform in this concert due to illness. However, the wonderful Victor Sangiorgio has stepped in to both tutor our students during Dan’s absence and treat us to a performance in this concert.
Italo-Australian pianist Victor Sangiorgio has performed concerti, solo recitals and chamber music throughout the world in venues such as Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Sydney Opera House, New York’s Steinway Hall, Moscow’s Bolshoi Sal and in the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. He is the recipient of many awards and prizes in International Competitions and his concertizing has taken him as far afield as China, Africa, Japan, The United States, Australia, New Zealand and throughout Europe. His collaborations have involved artists such as Raphael Wallfisch, Ruggiero Ricci, Andre Previn, and The Brodsky Quartet. He has performed with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Hallé, the London Mozart Players and the CBSO.
