Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival
An annual series of six chamber music concerts given in January each year, bringing chamber music of the highest quality to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Now augumented by a 'September Series' of three concerts plus further concerts from time to time throughout the year - and all given by some of the most exciting young artists from the UK and abroad.

The Festival was founded in 2000 by Daniel Tong and Fiona McNaught as a retreat for exceptional musicians and as a public series of concerts for the people of the Wye Valley. It is now a treasured part of the cultural year in this beautiful area on the English/Welsh border. It is also eagerly awaited by the musicians, many of whom return year after year to renew their energy and explore chamber masterpieces in a convivial atmosphere and inspiring setting with other fine artists. None of the musicians are paid for the residency.

The Festival is now artistically directed by Daniel Tong and Simon Crawford-Phillips. The programme each year incorporates more unusual works alongside established masterpieces. The quality of the artistic programme and performances have been recognised in the national press and on Radio 3. The organisation is a registered charity and relies on friends, fundraising events and donors to continue its work.
Artists who have appeared at the Festival include members of the Kungsbacka Trio, Leopold String Trio, Nash Ensemble, London Bridge Ensemble, Dante, Allegri and Quince Quartets. Individuals include James Boyd, Malin Broman, Simon Crawford-Phillips, Pierre Doumenge, Kate Gould, Matthew Hunt, Fiona McNaught, Graham Mitchell, Benjamin Nabarro, Lawrence Power, Daniel Tong, Matthew Truscott and of course, many more.
